Was I too tired?...

I had a busy weekend last week as I was selected to be a vendor in the Eco Chic Craftacular Show in Clintonville. It was a two day event and by the end of the second day I was tired. Not so much because I really did anything, but sitting around for eight hours just tires one out. Not to mention the preparation and loading prior to the show can be exhausting. After packing up, unloading the car, re-arranging and organizing the wares, I finally was able to sit back and relax. I lit one of my scented candles, read the paper and took in a show on TV. I called it a day around 11 when I headed off to bed.

Fast forward to Monday morning after the weekend when I tried to exit the house for work. I went out into the family room to gather my purse and keys when I noticed that the candle I had lit the night before was still burning! OMG, I thought to myself. It's a good thing I didn't burn the house down! I went to grab my keys off the hanger where I always put them and they weren't there. Hmmm, I thought, I wonder where my keys are? So i rummaged around in my purse, shook it a couple of times and then proceeded to dump everything out. Still no keys. I looked through pockets of what I had worn the day before, nothing. I opened the door, found the keys still in the lock set. OMG, I thought, its a good thing no one came in and stole me blind or worse!).

With keys in hand, I gathered up all the spilled contents of my purse and got in the car. I started it up and then noticed a flashing light and message that said, "trunk open". I looked in the rear view mirror and sure enough, the trunk was open and had been all night! OMG, I thought, it's a good thing it didn't rain all night!

I guess I was more tired that I thought! I retold this story and someone said it sounded like I was returning from a good old night on the town! No, just me too tired I guess.

I really hope that the Mr. misses this post as he would not be very happy with me.
