It is Only February Afterall...

Yesterday could not find me getting home quick enough. The sun was out, the air temperature was mild and the yard was calling my name! I've been known to be the neighbor that is still mowing the lawn in December and now I am known as the neighbor that is raking and using her leaf blower in February! Call me crazy! (I'm sure those neighbors do!) But I just could not resist getting out there and cleaning up old man winter's mess. Several people passed by while walking their dogs and I would nod and say hello. Aside from the semi-weird looks that I received it felt so nice to see familiar faces and some not so familiar faces out and about.

I'm sure that Mother Nature is not done with us yet and therefore the snow shovel still holds a place near the side door. It sure would be nice though if she decided to give us a reprieve!
