My son, the football coach, put together a mini-camp for incoming freshman at the high school. This was the first such camp for freshman and it was a huge success! It was a bonding time for the boys, it was a learning time for the team, and it was a time for the coaches to begin the season that they long for all year.

As you can see from the photo above, the kids brought their tents and set up in the dedicated area. Coaches were treated to an air conditioned RV compliments of one of the team members parents. Meals were provided by the parents, entertainment was provided by the team members. Campfires, disgusting food eating contests, and many memories rounded out the two-day event.

Needless to say, the Mr. and I are very proud of him and look forward to a great 2010 football season!
