A Funny Looking Eggplant...
You may recall that I referred to my eggplant in a previous posting. Well, just the other day I looked out my window and noticed a tall shoot coming from the eggplant. I thought to myself, "why that doesn't look like an eggplant"! I wandered out to the yard a day or two later and noticed that indeed it was not an eggplant, but rather a beautiful sunflower just getting ready to bloom! Imagine my surprise as I did not plant any sunflowers in the area this year.
Anyway, I just had to take a picture to share, if you look really close you will see a bunch of eggplants almost ripe enough to pick. Yummy! Oh and I took a picture of my first cucumber!
Another friend of mine had an unexpected sunflower appear in her yard too.
