The meaning as defined by Merriam-Webster, a devoting or setting aside for a particular purpose. The man I live with exemplifies the definition of dedication. He is the only person I know who will set his mind to a long term type of routine and actually stick with it! While I might begin a new exercise routine, or pick up a self-help book and plan to read cover to cover, he actually does! I am great at coming up with ideas of things to do to become a better person, he comes up with ideas and then really works at the changes. He sticks with things through thick and thin, when the average person would give up and go back to their old ways. He is always looking for ways to become a better person, a loving and understanding husband, an involved father and a company man.

There are many days that I look at him and marvel at how dedicated he really is to the many things he has going on in his life. I wish I could be just like him!
