My Mom...
# 39 of 365.
My Mom has endured many serious health issues over the past several years. During this time she has never once complained and has never once asked "why me"? She has an extraordinary amount of faith and strength and personally I do not know how she gets through it. This past week she was struck with yet again another serious health issue and I just want to say to God, "when is enough enough?" "How can you put this poor women through one more thing?"
The Mr. and I were talking about this the other night and he mentioned that her life was beginning to sound like the Story of Job. I would absolutely have to agree! I know that God has a plan for us all and that there is a reason for everything. I guess right now I would have to say that the lesson learned by witnessing my Mom go through all of this pain and suffering would be to show the world how things like this can be handled with dignity, strength and a little humor.
Please keep her in your prayers as she works to get over this most recent issue. thank you!
