Dumpster Diving
# 21 of 365.
What more fun could a few co-workers have then to dive into a dumpster and go through people's trash! How disguisting! But, we did manage to salvage quite a few items that can be re-used or re-purposed. It's funny how you ask students, "is there anything in that bag that could be recycled?", they reply 'No", you promptly go through the bag after they toss it only to find several items that somebody homeless would appreciate. You know what they say, "One mans trash, is another mans treasure"!
Note to self: Next year, wear shoes that you don't want to ever wear again, bring extra gloves, bring knife to cut open bags and make sure to do with your friends. Yes, you can find fun and humor in the oddest of things!

Face masks to shield us from the stench would be nice too. :-)
