"Butt Crack" of the Earlobe

So the other day I was listening to the news and heard a piece about the significance of a horizontal line in ones earlobe that I lovingly refer to as the "butt crack of the ear". It bothers me that I have them in addition to a really long ear piercing that does not allow my earrings to sit right and therefore, long gone are the days of wearing petite little studs.
The news piece piqued my interest so I googled it and found that some people think that the appearance of this line directly correlates to the possibility of future heart disease. I'm worried! Yet upon further readings some say it's not true. Who do you believe?
I guess the moral of this dilemma is to eat right and take care of your body no matter what kind of "butt crack" you may or may not have.
