Hello Friend!

Hello sweater, my old friend. It's time to get re-aquainted and I could not be happier. I'm also looking forward to the days of turtlenecks, sweatshirts, sweatpants (fav navy blue ones, of course!), the smell of fires in the firepit, football games, and a change in menu. I am looking forward to pulling out the new recipes I have been collecting to warm and spice up a evening meal. One pot versions are the best and fill the house with an inviting aroma.
This fall should be a showcase of beautiful colors as the summer weather has lent itself to a promising array of reds, yellows and oranges. So good-bye summer of '09, you were very good to us this year and I appreciate that! I just hope winter of '10 will do the same!
