Welcome Back!

I drove to work today in my newly repaired Honda and boy did it feel good! I missed her so! It had been gone for seventeen days getting a new bumper panel and quarter panel. Damage compliments of a driver not paying attention to what was in front of her!
The family car logistics since Don's return have been anything but normal. We have sold a jeep, purchased a new-used vehicle, sent some in for minor tune-ups, drove a rental and all the time we have been one vehicle short of everyone having their own. This led to the logistics nightmare of who was driving what, where and when!
It has been a pleasure riding to work with the hubby but nothing replaces getting to work on your own. I have the sense of freedom again! I control the dials, I ride in the lanes I know will move me faster, I know I can leave whenever I want. The familiar feel and smell of the Honda put a smile on my face this morning! I know...the simple things in life!
