Best Buds!

My Dad and Don H. have been friends for I can't tell you how many years, it has to be close to over 25. Once from the same neighborhood, they now get together when my Dad drives over for his daily visit. Among some of the things they do together are:

• Coffee "to go" at McDonald's but drink there (savings of .07 cents in sales tax)
• Bringing cookies from home to go with the coffee
• work on John Deere tractors
• find parts to cars belonging to family members that need repair
• annoy each other
• sit at the kitchen table to visit
• tinker in the garage surrounded by tools, tractor parts, etc.

When talking to each as individuals you would think they were worst enemies, what with their constant complaining about one or the other. But seeing them together makes me wonder "what would they ever do without each other"? They are just like a married couple! I think they are even beginning to look alike! They say that about couples that have been together for any long period of time. Take a look at the pictures, you be the judge!

My Dad is on the right and both are very proud of the fact that they are saving a total of over $ 50.00 per year on their coffee purchase at McDonald's!
