The Shoulder Pad is Back!

Who could ever forget Alexis & Krystle of the hit 80's series Dynasty? They wore shoulder pads like none other!

Flash forward to 2009 and the NY Fashion Week scene where the look of the 80's was spotted not only in the fashions but in the big hair styles too!

So who is excited that this fashion statement is back? Not me! Although I must admit that like most everyone else I conformed to the style and was fond of the square, boxy look. (but did we really have a choice in the matter?) Not so sure about it this time around. I'll be on the lookout for designers to slowly begin introducing those pads back into our wardrobes. Nothing that a sharp pair of scissors can't take care of!
