Rainy Days

Woke up this morning to a dark and dreary day. It took all I had to drag myself out of bed! I spent a few minutes at the open window listening to the raindrops and watching them fall upon the leaves of the bush below. It was then I realized how happy those bushes were, how happy the flowers will be when the raindrops make their way to the roots underground, how delighted the chipmunks will be to refresh themselves with the drops as they fall. I decided at that moment that I too, love the rain!
